Alan Rickman

A brief overview about the amazing man!

Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman was born on the 21st February 1946. He is an actor of both the stage and screen. He was formerly a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Les Liasons Dangereuses was his first stage role, but he has gone on to do so much more within film and on stage.

Alan was born in South Hammersmith, London. He has two brothers and a sister. Alan originally trained to be a graphic designer, until he was awarded a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
